Partnership between GITAM (Deemed to be university) & Northeastern University Boston

As part of building this entrepreneurial ecosystem, GITAM (Deemed to be university) has partnered with Northeastern University, Boston to harness their globally renowned expertise in Venture Development.

Their “Ready-Set -Go” process is what we would like to replicate in GITAM(Deemed to be university), details of which can be obtained from https://northeastern.edu/idea/.

Venture Development Centre is an abode for various entrepreneurship activities on campus. The center helps student entrepreneurs to incubate their ideas and develop them into business plans by providing immense guidance. It tries to create an urge in students to work towards their entrepreneurial skills. Various events like entrepreneurship, workshops, boot camps on design thinking, idea competitions, speaker series and many such planned events build the entrepreneurship eco system where students, faculty, staff and community are active participants.

VDC as an incubation platform fosters the development of entrepreneurs in the university through the educational module “Ready-Set-Go” in developing business from conceptualization to launch. We aspire to provide a holistic experience for our ventures through support in resources and opportunities to engage in experiential learning opportunity.
